Louis recently served as counsel to LG Technology Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of LG Group, in its venture investment in Claroty, an Israeli industrial cybersecurity company that raised $140 million in Series D funding, rendering it Israel’s newest unicorn. With the latest round, the company has raised $235 million to date. The round marks the largest investment ever made within the industrial cybersecurity sector, establishing Claroty’s market leadership as the world grapples with an uptick in cyberattacks on critical infrastructure in recent months. The new funding will be used to accelerate Claroty’s expansion into new verticals and regions and further enhance its product portfolio. He also served as counsel to LG Technology Ventures in its venture investment in Airalo, the world’s first eSIM store providing travelers with access to eSIMS for more than 190 countries and regions.
He recently represented Samsung Venture Investment Co (SVIC) in its Series A financing of NEX Labs, an AI and fitness platform based in California. Louis also represented SVIC in its Series A investment in Soundable Health, a digital health start-up with AI-enabled technology that identifies symptoms of diseases out of sounds on a smartphone.
